Guardiola interview with Rio Ferdinand

He could live abroad for large chunks of the year and still manage England who now have an incredible crop of young players. I can't see him going to another club except perhaps back to his beloved Barca...they certainly have a big re-build job to do there. He is a genius who can go wherever he wants. They should give him the Freedom of Manchester when he leaves.
He hasn't got enough sheep.

Good interview. A window to Pep’s thought.

Though I think the club can top this off with a pub setting table talk with Pep, Mancini and Pellegrini together. About their analysis of matches, their strategies, etc

Now that would be a 2-hour interview gold standard.

Yep, I totally agree with all this. Good post. Phil tries to do everything at 120mph and Pep’s trying to teach him to just be calm like David silva sometimes. Agree about KDB too. This run of wins has shone a light on the fact that Kev does keep trying audacious passes and when they dont come off we have lost possession and could face a counter. Without him we’ve bossed game arguably even more. When Pep has said, several times now, that we have been trying to force things too much he’s definitely had Kev in mind.

But KDB is also probably the only world class player in our squad. I think we leave him out on Sunday and then let him play his way back into form in the forthcoming games.
Of course, De Bruyne is just that damn good at what he does that Pep will squeeze him into the team regardless. I do believe Pep would always find room for such exceptional talent, even if they aren't a perfect 'system' fit. Aguero previously, Walker, and now Dias I think are players of this mould.

Saying that, knowing he's not completely indispensable might hopefully light a fire under KDB to reach new heights. Because as many have said now, if he stays as loose with possession as he is then he might not be in the team as often as he once liked eg he was benched in the CL.

Probably common knowledge at this point but he was part owner of Rosso, along with the guy who owns Boohoo.

Boohoo staff got pretty sizeable discount and it was pretty common to see him hitting on the young girls in there every week. Heard from my girlfriend at the time that he'd taken plenty of her colleagues to hotels.

I'm not saying anything about who he is now but he was a total slimy bastard 5-10 years ago and, although I'm sure it was still a horrible time in his life, the way he presented himself as a person and as a husband at the time didn't sit right with me.

I'd have far more respect for him if he held his hands up and admitted who he was rather than using the opportunity to manage his public image.
It's "The United Way".

Ask The Family Guy or Wooney

Pep is one of those guys that are one of the innovators in their profession.
Without getting too high flown, he is like Tesla, like Einstein, like Turing, always pushing the boundaries of his field, constantly thinking and rethinking. He wants to refine and redefine everything he touches. He is at the summit of Mount Everest but wants to reach higher.
We are blessed to have him as our manager.

So, so happy.
