Guardiola to Axe Kompany (Various Sources)

But give me 150 million and I can get City in a better position - that's not great management that's chequebook management

So you believe you're a better football manager than Manuel Pellegrini and Pep Guardiola, two people are the very highest level of an elite sport, despite having no experience at all and no education within it?

This year we lost early in League Cup / early in Chumps Lge

For the record that "lost early in the Chumps League" is the joint second furthest this club has ever gone in the premier European competition in its entire history.

I love this " could Pep keep Accrington Stanley or Rotherham up" bollocks, Messi is the greatest player of this generation, arguably of all time, does he think he'd keep them up??

I will stick with him cos if you stick with Alan Ball without leaving you can stick with anyone. I do think though Pep is nothing special - a manager of great teams and not a great manager of teams. Another 200 million and we might be getting somewhere but you give any competent football manager the best part of 350 million to improve a team that were already in the top 4 and they are hardly gonna fail completely are they? I think his "ideas" are not based on better football (although it may be more aesthetically pleasing) they are based on having superior players to the opposition who can therefore play his specific brand of tactics - not hard really. Could Pep get Altrincham out of trouble? Could he turn around Rotherham? I very much doubt it because he has seemingly inflexible thoughts on how to play and wants to implement his tactics on people whoncannnot play that way. Evolution rather than revolution . That, to me, is poor management which in any other walk of life would result in him being replaced fast
The good old spending millions and could he do it at a lower league club argument regarding pep just show's how blind you are
No harm in criticising pep but give him time
Sit back and enjoy the ride with pep it might even put a smile on your face one day

He knew when to tackle and when to intercept, which is a far more crucial attribute and one Otamendi probably doesn't know exists.
I'm not sure that's true. I thinks that's one of those attributes often ascribed to him that are not necessarily discernible. You just have to believe it on faith.

This all day, enjoy the ride .

No game time for Belgium in two important games for them is not a good sign for him for the remainder of the season.

It will be a particularly sad day for me when Vinnie no longer leads the team out.

Players come and players go but some of them leave a lasting impression in the past it was Trautman and Bell for me. The current team it will be Zabba, Sergio and Vinnie.

Zabba for his heroic efforts and his never say die attitude, Sergio for his goals and the greatest moment in football and Vinnie for his leadership and outstanding defending.

I will always remember his celebration when he scored with that header against the Scum that took us back to the top of the Prem in 2011/12, it is a wonder he didn't do himself a serious injury then.
I would add Silva to that trio.
