Guitar Thread

I’m the proud owner of a Mexican Fender Telecaster and an Epiphone ES355. I’ve got a couple of decent amps, a vox valvetronic and a Marshall FX. I play in a covers band and we gig in and around Stockport and South Manchester generally once a month.
I’m 42 and I still love it.
It’s a great form of escapism.

I'm in the 4-string gang, own a gibson thunderbird, dirtiest sounding bass ever made. And fair play to you mate for still gigging. I'm 47, starting gigging occasionally again recently after an extended break from it (studying and becoming a dad stopped things for a bit). I can't see me ever wanting to give it up until i literally can't do it anymore. It's good for the soul.

Thank you
I need a couple of strings, perhaps a complete restring, And then I've gotta tune it. I think I shall listen to that double CD I just bought yesterday of Andres Segovia. How he could play a guitar with those fingers I'd be fucked! Like a couple of bunches of bananas, but 'kinell he could play!

I could've played a duet with Andres but I've got the wrong kind of fingernails.
