Quite,Xavi,Iniesta and Busquets are the proof and benchmark.
Plus having the wide players stick rigidly to their wings till the final third means there's almost always space and a forward option on the counter.

Knew we'd eventually agree on something. Haha!
Yeah, I'd be looking to lose one from either side, keeping the others (Zabba and Clichy for me! though that's pretty subjective) as back up and buying a right and left back who are good enough and young enough to be first team regulars. I suppose the biggest problem with this is the lack of real quality on the market.Yep! For me it's a position which has plagued us for years. Really does need addressing though as I say, Laporte, Pogba and Gundogan is a superb start
Don't know, mate.
That's before defensive incomings. I still think Isco is preferable to Kroos, has more vitality and energy about his game?
Kroos just keeps the rhythm better than most.
Pep is a big fan of Kroos, didn't want him to leave Bayern.
Right then....
Hart
Denayer
Kompany
Laporte
Bernat
Kroos
Gundogan
Pogba
De Bruyne
Isco
Aguero
Close @tolmie's hairdoo ;-)
No place for Demichelis and Bony ?
Sagna - Kompany - Otamendi - New LB
Kroos
Pogba Gundogan
De Bruyne Sterling
Aguero
Jesus. What a team
shame on you for playing with no gk Ș)
This is untrue. Kroos essentially kept getting benched when Thiago returned from injury and didn't really fight against his transfer to Real Madrid. I can understand why pep would want Kroos. He plays possession football and is very neat and tidy with the ball, however, you guys really need midfield warriors like Gundogan and Isco.
Now THIS is untrue, it literally couldn't be further from reality.
No Bayern Munich player played more games than Toni Kroos in 2013/14 - 51 games.
He started 45 games - only Manuel Neuer (51) and David Alaba (46) started more games than Kroos.
Not only that but Thiago started 19 games all season, and 12 of them were next to Kroos, so the idea Kroos was benched for Thiago is laughable.
It's also well reported from a lot of sources that Pep was pretty pissed off that Kroos was shown the door because the Bayern board wouldn't give him Gotze's salary.
Literally everything in your comment is wrong - why write it? You clearly didn't have a clue what you were talking about.
If you followed Thiago's career, you would know he was injured for a good chunk of his Munich career. He even made a documentary about it.
Also, if you followed Munich, you would also know that during pep's tenure there and Kroos only season with Pep, every midfielder was injured for a long duration.
Javi Martinez. Bastian. Thiago.
Nearly all media sources saying Kroos was sold against Pep's wishes. Pep is a big fan of Kroos and even raved about him in his book Pep Confidential
