At least the price should go down, and if we buy him now he will be rested when he's back, not worn out from the EC in France. Could be an advantage at the long end of next season. Could!

Well it was supposedly done bar the shouting so we may take a longer view and continue,it'll all depend on us seeing how he progresses over the summer

It's all well and good saying he's fragile and another sicknote but for all we know Craig Bellamy has taken a golf club to him.

Google tells me it takes 6-8 weeks to fully heal. I assume that is not for someone under the strain of professional football, so even with longer rehab, sounds more like 3-4 months than 6+?

Would still sign him then.

If it's as serious as it sounds I'd avoid. I know he was relatively cheap but we don't need a player who can only play 20 games a season - we have enough of them! Weigl is a similarly priced alternative and I'd really be pushing the boat out for pogba. Koke is another one but he won't leave Atleti. Could veratti be prized from PSG?
