Would be a fantastic signing, but I hope Pep doesn't think that one central midfielder is enough because we need another one. Gundogan is a risk due to his previous injuries but definitely a risk worth taking. We need another solid, consistent midfielder with a quality football brain.

Delph needs to be fucked clean off, bang average.

nothing made up Pam.....I wasnt speaking as anything other than a fan with an opinion!; )
You expressed it as a fact though. Perhaps you didn't mean to. Personally, I like to think such negotiations can be long and complicated and the Transfer Forum tends to be impatient beyond belief sometimes.

No probs, I agree we do get alittle impatient! ; ) ......As for saying i expressed it as fact....I really cant do much more than start my post by saying...... "Just my opinion, which doesnt count for much"

That does seem pretty clear it was not fact! ;)

Na mate, with the limitations of fullbacks he (1) can't play silva wide of a 3 and (2) will utilise a back 3 a great deal of the time.. It's the easiest way to get use to his system at first.... Silvas best role is in the number 10 role, however, KDB is superior in it...

At Barca Pep would regularly play Iniesta on the wing with Abidal as his fullback. I don't see why Laporte or Clichy could not play full back with Silva at left wing or Stones or Sagna at RB and Silva on the RW. My opinion is that Silva will play in the midfield 3 and on the wing and KDB will play on the wing, and as #10 and maybe even as a striker (very similar to what we have seen with Muller). These are really talented players and their skill sets are versatile. While positional discipline is key to his philosophy Pep is going to use that versatility and plan each game specifically if his history is any indication.

I think the make up of the midfield is going to be really interesting. Specifically, who else is going to play the pivote if Gundogan is first choice there? Can Nasri play that role? I think having at least 2 players in that role is a necessity.

Also will Nasri and Fernandinho get many games as a #8 or will we see Thiago or Pogba and the promotion of both Garcias from the academy. I expect Yaya and Fernando will not be around but there are a lot of things that will be fun to see play out.

Didn't Iniesta go like an entire season without an assist recently too? Yet no one would say he's not one of the best playmakers in the world. Stats can be deceiving.
I often do. Think he is grossly overrated. But it's an argument no one agrees with.
