City never took a few hundred away in the 80's you are deluding yourselves. We filled many an away end and more than often we were in the home ends.

Back end of 82/83, I went to City v Swansea away, worst support I'd ever seen, around 200 if that, the previous away game we played at Southampton and around 250 or so there. Fact.

Does this one have full stops?

Actually a serious question. There have been several such books published and they're nigh on unreadable. I wouldn't mind leafing through one with structure mind.

The swansea game in question was in 84,its on youtube somewhere,
was there that day,end of season kickabout, thought we took quite a few, found the clip,we did,and it shows some of the lads on the pitch who were getting escorted round when we scored! and sure benny was there that day.

Yes, the grammar is fine. It is structured in a similar way to Guvnors and Sully with a background based on a tough upbringing and chapters on united, the scousers, London teams etc.

You know what you get with these books. If you have made your mind up already I wouldn't bother.
