Guy who had a heart attack update

Fair play to you, SWB (Steve?) for bringing all this to our attention. It must be bloody difficult for you at a time like this, but you've come on and shared your worries with a load of strangers and I have total respect for you for that.

This sort of thing always sadddens me as I always feel that I knew the person involved myself. Possibly this is because as we're all Blues and we've all us followed the club through everything that's been thrown at us over the years, we feel like we know each other individually. Who knows, we've probably seen one another hundreds of times without realising that the other is a fellow BlueMooner, and thus we don't get to speak or socialise, etc.

I can only echo what everybody else has said so far here and wish your dad has a speedy recovery and is back soon in his rightful place amongst the rest of us.

Best of luck, mate.

just been to see him and they said they stopped giving him some of the sedative drugs to see how his body would react, but his blood pressure went too low,so now he is on those drugs again, plus more to stop him from having fits which he also had earlier.Played him Boys in Blue and Blue moon on my phone and his face started twitching so he could definitely hear the songs.Told him all the support on here for him was overwhelming.Cant believe the MEN writing that, where did they get the information from?

Steve mate, trust me he can definitely hear you.

When I went to see my dad when he was in hospital and in an artificially induced coma he was hardly breathing on his own because of the sedative he got, you could actually see on one of the monitors how many times he breathed on his own per minute. They reduced the sedative at some point and he started breathing on his own a bit more and I swear to god when I was there with my wife one day I got into a bit of an argument with one of the male nurses and got a bit louder and he must have heard me because is breathing per minute went up by 3-4 per minute for a while, then dropped again.

Keep talking to him mate, he definitely hears you. Send him my regards too. I hope he gets well soon and has a speedy recovery.

The very best of luck to your dad and the family.

I sit across from your seats and was praying for him hard (even said I'd stop praying for a City win if only your dad pulled through.)We thought he had actually died and I had a cry for a bit - it was very hard to follow the match which paled to insignificance. The steward told us in the second half that he had been revived and taken to hospital. It helped but must admit I was still worried for him.

(Edited 'cos I'm a dolt and misread a bit!)
