Harry Gregg RIP

A football hero on and off the field.

His bravery at Munich where he pulled out his fellow players and even a mother and baby is truly remarkable and is rightly being reported.

He was also highly critical of the way united treated his team mates and families. Of course this will not get a mention.
And why should it? Give it a fucking rest and remember the bloke fondly.

point scoring at its worst.

in what way ???

harry gregg spoke out about the club in his book and told the truth about what really went on ? shame on united and the truth should never be forgotten and not glazed over with, yes united still milk the day and claim to be whiter than white, but in the after mass of major injuries to the survivors united turned there back on them ?

yes its sad that he has passed away and respect to his family in this sad times,

Because this isn't the time. Remember the bloke fondly without the need to resort to going over old territory about Munich and the way survivors were treated. Just reads like we're more interested in a dig at United. "He was a great player BUT..."

never said he wasn't and my R.I.P was from the heart
its sad but harry gregg was a strong bloke and spoke out about how bad united treat the survivors and rightly so, and it should never be forgotten and respected that somebody stood up for justice

I'm sure the Gregg family are thankful for your insight.

you are really twisting it now

in what way was it disrespectful and at no time was it a cheap shot and like i said respect and its sad he has passed over
but the man also stood for justice in wanting the club to help the survivors and his work in pushing for the injured to get some much need funding
