" Kane risks following path of big money flops" scream that excrement of a paper the Daily Star. That reporter needs to watch his blood pressure getting that wound up about it, pmsl
I can imagine the 400k salary if that's what he gets with bonuses, I mean if he's the top scorer and stuff, easily.Kane it is then, only thing is i cannot see us paying a straight £400k per week !
That breaks our pay structure does it not
Can see something on par with Kev and bonuses added etc
I've watched football for over 60 years and have never seen a player who holds onto the ball for (far) too long, and 'plays for the foul' as much as Jack Grealish.
It's not necessarily cheating, but it's petty and definitely slows the game down. Either he plays that way intentionally, or it's a bad habit he's carried from his childhood playing days. I suspect the latter.
When watching Villa games, I've often thought that his actions have caused promising moves to break down rather than put Villa in a good position.
I honestly don't think Pep or any other coach will be able to coach probably deeply ingrained habits out of him. His 'stop/start' style of play has worked for him at every level, and (while it's only based on what I've seen and heard on the media) he seems to have an air of arrogant self-confidence about him.
He's a maverick, and as such, I think he may find it hard to adapt to our more disciplined style of play.
Do we want to risk signing another Rodney Marsh? Only time will tell... Good luck to the lad whatever the outcome.
Unless he gets injured i just can't see how he won't smash a fuck ton of goals in over several seasons. People might not want him but he will still deliver.out of curiosity, what 100m+ player has justified their price so far?
maybe neymar/mbappe, but that's questionable
griezmann, coutinho, dembele, felix, pogba, hazard, wouldn't say any of those came close to justifying the price
You must be reading the excrement of a paper to know what they are saying." Kane risks following path of big money flops" scream that excrement of a paper the Daily Star. That reporter needs to watch his blood pressure getting that wound up about it, pmsl
i agree, but i was asking about the current crop of 100m+ playersUnless he gets injured i just can't see how he won't smash a fuck ton of goals in over several seasons. People might not want him but he will still deliver.
That’s good for youDon't know if AC-12 will have finished interviewing him in time for the new season tbf.
I don’t read the Sun and I don’t believe the figures bandied around, I like to think that City wouldn’t pay that amount of money. My comment is aimed not at people who dispute the figures but at people who come out with comments such as it’s not our money so why should we care how much we spend and people desperate for signings irrespective of cost and long term implications based around wages etc. I want the squad to improve as much as anybody but not at any cost and I will be disappointed but not too down hearted if new signings don’t come in.Do you believe everything you read in The Scum?
I don't think they will. As he is English, and England's best striker, the media will still rave about him.Not by the pundits and media who have ignored them so far. If he comes to City they will start calling him out for them. I’m starting to accept he could come to us but it’s because of his diving and cheating especially against us that I was against him.
Neymar???? I can't remember how much he cost but there's no way he's justified his price.out of curiosity, what 100m+ player has justified their price so far?
