I am saying Kane has no better of a reputation than Lukaku, Haaland or Lewa in Europe. Doesn't mean he's shite, but Lukaku is well up there. He is a scary player, and if you don't believe his reputation then I can't really convince you otherwise. In terms of ability, he's not far off either. Lukaku was scoring plenty at Everton too if you want to compare records, don't wanna mention the rags because most good players they took in simply became shite.

I agree, have said so many times. I like seeing another teams perspective on things, its refreshing from a purely one club forum. Obviously I see that modding a premier league forum with multiple teams posting is impossible but for me its much more interesting, the abuse aside.

I don't think Lukaku is shit by any means but he is a totally different player to Kane, Lukaku has speed and power, Kane has a subtle (maybe awkward) technique, but it works for him.

Personally not really arsed about the Kane transfer tbh. The fee, Kane's age and increasing fitness/injury worries. I don't think I've ever seen him make the difference on the big stage either and we put enough past the dross in the league already.

Not sure how Spurs fans feel about it all, or how they objectively rate his chances making the difference for a club competing on all fronts but I'm not convinced tbh.

With the kind of money Levy wants we'd be much better off focusing on Halaand imo.

If Levy is delaying the transfer because he does not want Kane to play in the opening game of the season Kane may wish to remove this obstacle/excuse by making it impossible. It is clear that Kane is convinced that he had the famous "gentleman's agreement" and that he is either entitled to his move or is going to get it and he may simply be trying to remove all obstacles. Whether such tactics will work or simply harden Levy's resolve is something no-ne can say for certain but Harry Kane obviously knows him better than anyone outside Spurs.

Fairly sure no one can justify that part. Gentlemen's agreement in football means absolutely nothing. Kane may be convinced he has one but he has no right to use that as something official.

I will say, however, I do see why he's up in arms. For people claiming 'whyd he sign the contract then?' well a lot of players do and still move. Plus the situation then and now is totally different, Levy may be clever for negotiations with other clubs, but he has simply failed to deliver the Spurs project, no silverware, a CL final is good fair enough, but nothing of note aside, recruitment has been poor, and so I can understand why at the time Kane was signing that contract he believed strongly in the project, but has no faith in it now.

Lol those are stereotypes, they may be different type of strikers but aside a difference in speed, he is highly technical and very good at hold up/link up play as well, do agree on Kane being unorthodox in how he plays. No surprise why Lautaro Martinez was able to score 17 last season, Lukaku is very adapt at moving around the pitch and making it hell for defenders.

With your team Kane wont have to fuck about as a creator, he wont have to come looking for the ball. If you wanna see what Kane can do for you look at him with Eriksen in full flight. Injuries come from him being over played and having to over commit rather than any chromic problem. Haland is a beast, id go as far to say he is a bully, i don't mean that negatively btw but that's his style, strength, pace, power.
