For me all the statement shows is how poorly advised he's been this whole time. Kane doesn't have a real agent and has zero leverage with Spurs unless he's willing to torch his reputation, and they both know it. So we're just back to where we were a week or two ago: he comes if we pay the 140-150M. I don't think we will but who knows.

Well they got 7th last season with him needing to score 23 goals and getting 14 assists, it's not guaranteed. Especially when he doesn't want to be there, which will affect morale.

I think Spurs now need to sell more than we need to buy, we have more options, which means we aren't meeting the stupid price they want.

That statement seems to me like Kane doesn’t believe the two clubs will come to an agreement and he’s just trying to get back in favour with the Spurs fans.

Doesn’t mean the clubs won’t come into agreement, just that he’s shit himself.
