So imagine when he becomes slower then he is now.

His stats are really good, but I think you must look beyond stats sometimes. Bony had great stats at an average club, but he was a poor player. Same with Lambert, Liverpool was fooled by that mans stats.

I just don't think Kane is worth 150 million and we would be better of going with Jesus for a year.

Bony had great stats playing for a Premier League club in the toughest league on the planet.
And he was worthy of the stats, I remember him scoring a corker against us.
What took Bony out of the game was that he contracted malaria and, as in many cases, he didn’t ever fully recover just like some people won’t ever fully recover from covid.
It was a tragedy and he was not a bad buy as he was worth every brass cent at the point of purchase.

Having said that I’d have preferred Martinez to Kane for no better reason than I think he’d be a better fit and the goals that Kane will surely score would be shared around instead - pretty much as per last season.

Though I will of course back any purchase.
