He's a genuinely world class player and he must kick himself every day thinking about what Pep could've done with him. I think he would be Pep's ideal striker as he's got a very good football brain and can play as a striker and drop deep. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we enquired about him again.

Personally though, I think the ship has sailed. He will go to Real for £100m and he will be brilliant. Hopefully the experience in Spain for him and Bellingham will help us win the Euros and WC! :)

- I want him to go to Real Madrid so he would be happy to be at a big club (that planned to organize Super League).
- And then we knock them out in CL again so we'll be happy as a bigger club.
- And finally, Spur is still being sucked without him.

Win-Win-Win in my opinion.

If we do have money to spend he would still be a fantastic signing for us. Would love to see him in the number 10 role as I think he has the intelligence and passing range to play there for a number of years, plus if he does move to a rival he strengthens those sides considerably.
