Harry Kane

The issue is Spurs fans aren't realising the situation Levy is in here. Nuno and Patrici probably want rid of Kane; Nuno because Kane isn't committed to Spurs and Patrici because he can use that money effectively in a COVID stricken market. From a Spurs perspective, Kane wants out, he only wants to join one club and it's now or never to shift a deteriorating asset. Away from the emotion and hysteria attached to Kane, selling Kane now would be opportunistic by Spurs.
Understand what you are saying but Levy wants to keep Kane.
And when Levy has a will there's always a way. I'm not arguing whether its wrong/right to sell Kane

Imo : we should get the most money possible out of city to help our rebuild if we do decide to sell Kane
but Levy is the sort of guy who doesn't want to look bad in public. This will bother him.

Dickov? I said booed so your reply is appropriate but in my mind I meant hated.
Yeah Dickov got boo’d loudly when he scored a penalty against us for Leicester and celebrated in front of the Leicester fans. Still don’t understood why anyone boo’d the lad to this day.

Ah, I see.

Probably only Distin and Sturridge were shown any real hate from us. The same sort of shit we take the piss out of other fans for. Daft both times from us.

Distin (for no reason, stupid from us to boo him, all he did was leave a mid-table club for a club that was getting to Cup finals and playing in Europe)
James (wasn’t boo’d but had “David James, he’s under the thumb” sung at him haha)
Barton (while he was still a City player because he hadn’t yet signed his contract)
Dickov (because he dared to celebrate scoring a goal)
Sturridge (slapped arse bollocks from us to boo him)
Milner (didn’t at first, in fact got a good applause in the first games with Liverpool after he left, but now gets boo’d)

Plus likely many more…
Didn't we boo Milner in a certain testimonial
Hahahahaah

Levy will make a point and will want him to start, the guys too stubborn not to
Doubt he starts
Nuno has made a big point about fitness
No way will he be deemed fit to start. Bench maybe but start very surprised and I for one would be dissapointed as I'd rather play with Son up front then a half fit Kane.

There’s some pretty weird folk on that Spurs forum.

I know it’s tough losing your best player, we’ve been there, but there’s ways of dealing with it.

I feel for them a bit, because if David Silva ever did an interview like Kane did to Neville it would've destroyed me.

But Jesus, the vitriol over there. They hate Kane, his brother, levy, city, city fans, HH SM, The Queen, decimalisation, the industrial revolution, the Big Bang.

Basically, it’s everyone else’s fault and everyone is a twat but they’re excited to spend the money. Odd bunch.

The truth is they understood why Kane wanted to go but Charlie's handling of this whole thing has been poor and given Spurs a reason to hate Kane. We all know losing your best player can evoke emotion but the way it's been handled has allowed Spurs fans to justify hating on Kane. If this transfer was done behind the scenes quietly and swiftly, it would've been a totally different reaction imo.

Already spent some of it !

"They're irrelevant. That's why nobody cares if they win trophies.", says a spurs fan about city when theu havent won a trophy in three decades.

You do know it’s called negotiation. When clubs buy and sell the buyer will go to a certain level and so will the seller. Think you are naive if you think Levy won’t budge at all on fee. Course he will.
Its Levy.
I know I may sound stupid but honestly Daniel Levy is crazy.
Ask anyone who the toughest negotiator is.
Levy will not want to come out of this deal looking bad.

Also specifically on the fee. I'd be very surprised if we budged from wanting more than £150m to barely £130m . (just my opinion)
