Harry Kane

Players with less natural athleticism can stretch their peaks a little longer because they don't lose as much when they lose the athletic prowess. I don't buy that Kane only has a couple of years left.

He's missed 38 games since the start of 18/19 through injury.

Personally think he has 1-2 years of peak left and will taper off quickly. He's not an overly athletic bloke.

Would also point out that you don't need to be "injured" to feel the accumulation of injuries and the impact on the body.
And on the flip, look at the incredible impact he has had on the league in those 3 seasons.

56 games missed in 5 seasons, so roughly 11 per season. He’s actually quite similar to de Bruyne in that regard.
And in the last 2 complete seasons he's missed just 4 games due to his "glass ankles" (2 per season).

In fact in that same period he's only missed an additional 14 games to a ruptured thigh muscle, 1 to lack of fitness, 1 to illness and 1 to 'unknown'.

well at least "waiting for the Spurs game to finish" debacle was shot down,it wasnt the reason of the deal being delayed that Levy was worried Kane might play against them in the opener.

thats the only development on this i last few days.

Agreed although I'd say we'll see the taper off in the 3rd year, and tbf, FI will know all about that last bit I've highlighted mate ;-).
