Harry Kane

can totally see Spurs struggling for proper replacements. Any decent striker up for sale in price range of 50-80m would possibly has offers from CL teams as well. or they already are at CL teams and wont want to join Spurs on a 5-6 year deal with Levy then never selling them and with not much chance for them to be in CL for years possibly.

No champions league or even decent european competiton is going to stop top strikers going there to be honest mate, i personally think that is the problem, they cant get a replacement so have thought fuck it, we wont let kane leave now.

Yep and this just highlights Levy’s miss management of Spurs. Yes, they have a nice stadium, but they can’t attract top players as they’re not in the CL and little chance of competing for the top prizes…And that is why Kane also wants out.

Depending on whether Kane travels with the spurs squad today will most likely give an indication to how close this deal is.

yep! thing is Levy also knows we desperately want Kane? And we do desperately need a world class striker as i dont think we can win the league without one this season so we either pay up or move on.

The reasons Kane wants away, as cited in his leak, are the same reasons that will prevent Levy from finding suitable replacements. If the gods are kind and give them the most favourable of draws, they might, just might, win the League Cup, but they will not finish in the top four this season. That means any player signing on a three-year contract knows that his first two seasons will definitely not involve Champions League football, and with the manager only on a two-year contract, his last year will likely be in turmoil.
