Harry Kane

What do we all think is a realistic transfer fee for Kane? I can see the club going to £90m absolute maximum. £150m being quoted is just an insane figure, definitely not justifiable.

Player plus cash - say Ake with the player hugely overvalued to save face.

If that is true, we won't be getting either this yeat. I can't see either of them leaving for any less. And that's just as the upfront portion.

The reality is that anyone with £90m to spend has the market to themselves... no one else has got that kind of money... so if we approach Spurs with a straight £90m upfront bid - are they gonna turn it down? Because if we make it clear it’s take it or leave it - no other bids are coming in and that £90m will cover their interest payments or payments to bond holders for quite a while. Talk is cheap but Spurs will take any sizeable offer for Kane VERY seriously because it’s a potential lifeline for the club.

I dont know why but i just cant get that excited about Harry Kane no matter how many posts i put or news etc i just dont feel that excitement a Messi or Haaland would bring. Which is stupid because hes insane 22 goals and 13 assists is game changing.

But Haaland is a city fan theres pics of him with City tops on , his dad played for us etc hes going to be one of the best strikers in world football and hes a City fan. to have an actual City fan up front who grew up watching City win things.
and now would probably be winning things with us thats exciting.

This myth that hes a City fan needs to stop.

He isn't. he is Leeds fan.

That's the new Covid market, there is a correction which will take place.

Financial realities will dicate.

Same reason why United know they won't get their money back on Pogba, even with 12 months left on his deal.

He attended several City games with his dad, was on a supporters group on Facebook and had City merchandise at his home. I’m sure he also has affiliation with Leeds. But to say he isn’t identified with us, just is denial

Bang on, he supported whoever Alfie played for, as do alot of players son's.
Years back I was at a youth tournament my brother played in, Mike Channon junior was playing, walked around in a Norwich shirt "I used to support city when dad played for them" ;)
