Are we raising our bids in £1 increments ?I know it’s the Daily Mail but they say we are willing to go over 120m. There’s no firm news linking Spurs with a striker so not sure if he’d be allowed to go without a replacement incoming.

Been plenty of those in the last couple of years in big games though. What we consistently did better than other teams last season was beat the shit teams. Plenty of half decent teams last season and at Spurs last week where we struggled to break teams down without a proper number 9. Seems pretty clear we’ll face better competition for our title this season and failing to sort a striker could prove very costly. That FA Semi was a cluster F*** of a game by both teams, the day it showed the FA Cup is no longer a major competition.

One final push fc.
One final push fc. Fingers crossed
Txiki is on the shitter while sending an email to Levy.I honestly have no idea what "one final push" or "preparing a bid" means.
Will there be a PowerPoint presentation?
Totally agree and how many times a season do we play a team that genuinely gives us a game?Been plenty of those in the last couple of years in big games though. Maybe they don't want replacements and need to bank the cash?Spurs would have to be MASSIVELY incompetent to not already have their replacements lined up. Even if they think he's staying, you don't just presume that and hope for the best. City will have Kevin De Bruyne's replacement lined up already to some degree and he's not even in the market. If there was an ongoing saga then those talks would become more concrete obviously. As we know more than most, complicated transfers can be done in a few hours if all parties want the same thing. This "there isn't time" is yet more Levy bullshit.
