Harry Kane

There was a watershed moment on his career during that game.

Early in the second half when Foden wriggled out of defence and slotted Kane through... Kane’s body couldn’t do what Kane’s mind wanted it to. You could see it and it was painful to watch.

In 2 years he’ll be a shadow of last season. We really shouldn’t buy him.

The trouble is, one injury can finish a player. Sergio was still breaking records before the pandemic hit. One bad knee injury and his legs were gone.

On the evidence of the last two games, he'd be no better than the guy we just let go. Hopefully he's just carrying a knock.

Looks like he sneaked Eric Dier to the Euros and he's carrying him in his ass pocket.

I’m not sure if that’s true, or if he’s not quite fully fit, but one thing is for sure, he hasn’t suddenly become a bad player!

Harry Kane scores goals in the PL, and if we can get him, then he improves our team! He will score goals and his record tells you that. For Spurs he dropped deep because they have Højbjerg as their playmaker and not DeBruyne/Foden/Silva etc.. he would be class for us and 2 anonymous games for England, doesn’t change that.

You are ignoring that when he was clean through early in the second half (from Foden) his body just gave up.. a year ago he holds off the defenders and scores.

He never had pace but his slowdown is on a par with Rooney. He’s massively in decline.

Some of the reactions in here are mind boggling.

Playing shit to keep his fee down...but don't buy him anyway.

Looks like he's got an injury...but look hoe shit he looks.

The lad just walked away with the golden boot and most assists in a shite team managed by a dinosaur and a PE teacher in the last season.

We need to learn the lessons of Sanchez/Coutinho/Hazard etc transfers, if you're going to spend such huge fee and wages it should be on a young player with no sign of being a crock. Kane has a physique like Hazard and Rooney, no way will he be doing a Lewandowski/Ronaldo and be playing well in his thirties.

Nonsense.

No player is guaranteed to never be injured.

Kane has hardly been a prem player since he was 18 like Rooney. Hes toughed out lower league football and dragged himself and Spuds to where they are. He's been a one man army for years, at City he will finally have the chance to be part of a bigger machine.

You are totally missing the point. He has the entire team built around him at Tottenham.. every aspect of their play from deep lying low block to counter via Pinging it to Harry to hold up the ball before pinging it out to one of their rapid fuckers.. whether it Son or Moura.. to again feed Kane.. who admittedly is lethal at putting it in the net... all great.. but we don’t play that way.. reason? We finished 1st and they finished 7th.

my point.. is 1) we do t play that way. 2) he is flattered by that system 3) he is not going to get better or more physically able. 4) he’s injured loads and 5) when we realise all this we are stuck with a dinosaur on wages the size of a small nations GDP.. and with no resale value.

look elsewhere.. this has mistake written all over it.. and huge costly ones like this can derail any club.

Poppycock.
He's a busted flush.

Looked more like he was carrying a sack of potatoes.
