I watched it too. I forget his exact words but it sounded like Spurs do not want to negotiate.

2. 60m sales funded Jack.
3.Messi was not in his plans yet.
4. 3/4 Players want out but need to find a suitable deal.

The only Messi downside is that he said we believed in Jack so much we gave him the no 10.

Interesting info on face value. He did not rule out signing Messi and called him the best player ever to play the sport.
