I hear you. It's always going to be a gamble at these prices. From the amount of times we've pulled out of deals these last few years due to fleecings and it "not being right", when it does come off, I tend to trust the club.

Agree. Laporte is well within his rights to say that he walks into any other starting back line in the world, but you can't help but feel he has something to learn from Stones - whose current glory is based off taking himself away, working hard, and taking every oppurtunity he was given to prove how good he was in the present tense on the pitch.

This is Kane's last chance to get a move and I don't think it's the first time he's considered it. Nuno might get Spurs playing better but will it happen quickly and more importantly will it persist and will Levy support it with further signings. Possibly, but can Kane trust Levy's promises? It seems not.
