There's an awful lot of very extreme and very weird anti Kane sentiments in this thread which have to my mind very little to do with football. I've seen loads of tenuous and half hearted arguments about injuries and the like, but ultimately Kane is one of the top 5 number 9's in the world. He will be a fucking revelation under Pep.

The rest just feels like a popularity contest to me and he obviously isn't winning one of those whilst Haaland is knocking around.

Been interesting reading the different opinions on Kane. If the club want him and get him in the end so be it.

If he dons the sky blue, I’ll be on side. I’m sure the hierarchy have targets in mind if a Kane deal isn’t feasible. No clue how high City are ready to go (money) for him but whether it’ll be too much is inconsequential if we’re talking about external perception. The media will and have always painted City how they like. Won’t change today or anytime soon.

I think there’s no way we pay a fee where we consider it a bargain. I think it’s a similar situation to when Higuaín went to Juventus, the best striker in the league, similar age, from a rival and they paid €90m back in 2016. We just have to hope he comes here and delivers.
