Harry Kane

Some people on here just don’t like Kane amd it seems more due to his personality or the fact he already plays in Premier league.
We need someone who can finish, someone lethal in front of goal, someone good in the air and someone who can also link up play and provide assists.
Couldn’t be any more obvious choice that the best forward in the premier league who has done it for the last few years consistently, understands the league and knows our players.
Gonna be a hell of a lot of people on here doing a 180 turn in the coming months

Think most would compare both Kane and Haaland as fantastic goalscorers

But Haaland is younger, less injuries, connection with City and more value for money

If we sign either I would be happy

He is saying IF we can’t get Harry Kane which is looking very unlikely.

But Ollie Watkins!!

We could also say go for Toney from Brentford or Armstrong from Blackburn

But all these players good goal scorers they are IMO are not the level of player we need to win the CL.

Would rather we stick with Torres, Jesus and Delap and than sign Watkins

I think deep down Pep even knows that if we didn't sign another striker this window, then it will be a big struggle to win the league again let alone have a good shot at the champs league

would the employees be buzzing about Kane though? Or maybe its across the signings in the window?

I'm in the 'yes' camp as I don't think Haaland is happening but, and I know stats can show anything (top scorer, golden boot etc) but he does seem to me to go missing in big games. Maybe it's the spursy in the team getting to him.

Anyway according to some respected posters on here he's the main CF target and it's probably going to happen with spurs need for cash so lets hope I'm watching him fire us to glory again & again.

Not happening for the money they want, Pep has made that clear. City don’t want to spend that amount of money on a player. Let’s hope we find a solution that doesn’t leave us behind other clubs Who will fork out for Harry.

Watkins has proven himself. Toney and Armstrong haven't. Remember Teemu Pukki? Loads of goals in the Championship and couldn't do it in the Premier League. There will be loads of lower league players who can play at a higher level but you can't gamble on them unless you have really very good reason to do so.
