I predict City will sign Grealish but fail to land Kane based on nothing other than a belief that levy will hold out for stupid money.

No one else is moving for big money. Sancho deal went from £100m plus down to £75m. I can see City making one final offer but past transfer windows suggest that City do not do a Manchester Utd and stay at the table making offers.

Again I can’t understand why we would prioritise a 28 year old Kane over a 21 year old Haaland who could conceivably be a generational talent that blows the league and Europe away.

Dont get me wrong, I’ll be more than happy with Kane, but I only perceived we got interested because we didn’t think Dortmund would play ball at our price ceiling, but anything north of £100mil for Kane is fucking barmy.

Guessing I would say a combination of his agent, his wages and a release clause.

Haaland and his agent must realise that it’s not just City that won’t do that deal but anyone. Imagine them actually talking to Barcelona!? Talk about a complete waste of time.

That’s true. It’s make no secret of the fact that they have 3 or 4 targets for every position lined up in advance..it was even in the second scouting video.

Not happening for the money they want, Pep has made that clear. City don’t want to spend that amount of money on a player. Let’s hope we find a solution that doesn’t leave us behind other clubs Who will fork out for Harry.

There's a difference between getting the money they want and what they can get. They are talking in the region of £100m, which City never do, so what stopping them spending the money on Harry in order to get him to the club?

They will find a settlement that both clubs will be happy with whether it's £110-£130m as suggested.

I agree completely. I also think that we’ve never paid silly money for a player yet, and consequently I refuse to believe we will start considering £130mil as acceptable for Kane.
