Exactly this. As good as he is he's coming to the final stages of his (Albeit excellent) career. Would rather have someone 24/25. Cant believe Mbappe is still only 22. Mindblowing really...

Levy sacked Poch to get Mourinho shows he has ambition beyond finishing top 4, and Kane is a big part of that plan. He will not sell his best player to a title challenger. Even if he did, he won't ask for anything short of 200m. Might as well go for Haaland if we're spending that much.
 


Harsh, this. I reckon when you look at the total goals he'll score in his career, he's probably only about 80% done.

If Messi played for us for two seasons the effect of this may last for 10 seasons with those kinds of fans we don't care for hanging around longer, kids from other countries buying our shirt and that shirt then being seen on the streets all over the world etc.

I guess that is why they wanted him here as much for that ability as his ability on the pitch.

his all round play imo has improved a lot, i wasnt a big fan of kane, there was something about him, his goal scoring record is excellent, there just something about him im not sure about, anyway my mind has definitely been made up , his ankles are made of glass, there seemed little in the challenge for him to get injured , he has a spell out every season with ankle problems, so its a no from me.

Haha, I remember coming back from a derby at The Etihad, which we won - Fake Ron sent off! - and said to my Rag s-in-l that MANUre lost 'cos Rooney wanted to ref the game and Benito Bennett was having none of it!
 
Is he supposed to still be out when we play them in February?
