Harry Kane

Looks like Sir Harry he is set for his increasingly regular spell on the sidelines,he's far too injury prone these days for us to be interested.

At least the league gets a break from his snide antics, cheating, and attempts to ref a game.
It isn't just that he gets injuries It's the same injuries on a joint.Weakness will build up and will shorten his carreer.I wouldn't go anywhere near him.

Sometimes I think Martin Samuel is our man on the outside, but on the inside of the anti-City football media in this country.

Is Martin making Harry think on purpose?

Signing that long contract with Spurs now looks like a fateful decision. He's tied to them until 2024. They don't need to sell until summer 2023, when he'll be 30.

Scary stuff. I don’t want him and turning City into “the Harry Kane team” is a dreadful vision.

Over at the fightingcock spurs fan forum they are resigned to lose Harry Kane this summer and a lot of them think it would be City that he will go to.
But they often cite his injuries issues and Levy's demand that may make him continue at Spurs. His injuries may deter us going for him according to them , which makes sense to be honest.

I highly doubt the club has any concrete interest in a 28 year old, with a dodgy ankle, and will most definitely cost the club a bomb. Plus the extra blood pressure you get from dealing with Daniel Levy is just not worth it.

I’m not so sure, theres been a few rumours about Kane for some time now.
like him or not he’s a top player and knows where the goal is , not bad at penalties either.unlike spurs we wouldnt run him into the ground
problem of course is the cost and dealing with Levy

Great player and watching him on Saturday made me realise he is a very hard working player aswell.

But those ankles are a major problem and as other have said , will only get worse with age.

For the money he would cost , he is far too big a risk.

In this covid market and Spurs debt how much is a fair fee for Kane? One thing with Kane he will solve our penalty problem ;)

90m rising to 120m depending on targets reached would be a fair fee.

Could see Pep seduced by the idea of coaching a lot of the English national team (Foden, Stones, Kane, maybe also Grealish?), but I also think he knows Kane in particular isn’t a very smart signing. However, we can’t tell how much of a say he would have in this, as he barely had one when we closed Dias

Some of you are brilliant at wasting other people’s money!

Find a 23 year old talent and buy him for a fraction of the price! We have already proven our system doesn’t necessarily need an out and out striker, so we certainly don’t want to over pay for one with an injury history who will soon find life miserable in the north of England and spend his life up and down the M6!

In every way it would be better to sign Haaland; much younger, not injury prone, links to the club through his dad, and most importantly a better all-round player.
I also think Haaland would find a much better chemistry with Messi (were that to happen) than Kane would

It's a plant, mate.

Martin has thrown this in a few times in recent weeks, even in his own Spurs match reports.

Perhaps City are just covering their bases, as I don't see Kane leaving England in the current climate.

Spurs are the type of club who would probably take Mahrez, but I don't think City should be offering any type of life raft to Kane or Spurs, for that matter.

Brillaint player and he’s pretty much got every attribute what makes a great striker. Two years ago would have been the time to sign him. £100m+ for a 28 year old with a questionable injury record is a big risk. Haaland for £100m+ and Messi please.

Our days of being reamed are over. 100 mill for a 28/29 year old ? Levy will personally drive him up here. He's not stupid and neither are we.
