Harry Kane

Not sure what your point is there fella. Because him saying that ”£100M is too much” obviously meant that anything more than that would also be too much . . as in; his opinion is that he’s not worth what they’ll be asking for him.
My point is people are saying 100m is to much, we would be dealing with Spurs and I can't see them accepting less than £130m (maybe more) and for that reason I don't think we will be signing him.

Sometimes think I live in a parallel Universe.
How some people can believe City would pay 120 million pounds for a 28 year old, with a decent injury record is beyond me.
Add his 5 year wage bill and I think we will leave it to the biggest club in the World to take him.
Pep himself tells us we cannot afford it, I believe him. This really bad flu epidemic means we are looking at 200 million pounds losses, and will not be buying 100 million pounds 28 yr olds.
In fact I doubt anyone will sign him not even Derby County.

This seems a bit similar to Messi last year. Kane wants out, thinks Levy will be a gentleman etc

Easier to sign Messi this summer.

If he did move, tomorrow would be his final home game (with fans).

I suspect part of shouting up now is ensuring they appreciate it may be the last time they see him play for spurs

we do realise how much money £150m is dont you? plus agent fees , wages etc? its not fifa and this is real life money?!?!
I don’t know how many times the same points need to be made about commercial returns and brand building.
The club was willing to go up 120M (and probably beyond that) for Mbappe in 2017. If we had had a glimpse into 2021 and seen the player he has become and his accomplishments, do you really think we wouldn’t have spent *insert any insane amount of money here* for him?

What’s elitist, that we’re not all collectively crying and sending him flowers and preparing our board ‘thank you’ notes for signing Saint Harry?

We're being linked with a striker who's averaged 30 goals a season over the last 7 years. He's not only maintained this average despite injuries, he's even incorporated an astute reading of the game to go along with his goals. Yet some believe he won't improve us and drive us on to better things? This is exactly the kind of signing you should make when you're on top. It demoralises your rivals and lifts everyone in the dressing room. Put any perceived media biases or whatever aside and see it for what it is, a world class striker joining an already world class side. What's not to like?

Kane has asked to leave so he’s been tapped up, just can’t see City as a club tapping him up before a Champions League final, and as others have said this isn’t our modus operandi
Do you think we only tapped him up a couple of weeks ago , this will have been in the pipeline for months if it’s true

Zabaletta.

I have a few doubts over Kane's fitness.

Do you prefer the 4-6-0 and Foden, Mahrez, Bernardo, Rodri, Gundogan, KDB or a more othodox forward line with Kane? We might win the CL with 4-6-0. Should we change it?

I am not sure. It worries me a little that if we don't get him, Utd will. Is that reason enough to buy him?

First of all, we would never get Kane for that number. And even if that were the case, the 150M investment on Haaland is EASILY smarter
Probably the reality will begin to sink in soon enough for you,but maybe, just maybe,BVB aren't willing to burge and will not sell this summer, unless something very close to 200 M € arrives to even think about it,and to add to it agent commissions and wages, and nobody can afford such a package. We have to look elsewhere or we've perphaps looked elsewhere

Haaland all the way if given that choice. They will cost the same if not Kane more. We can play the long game with Haaland because we've played without strikers and still win the league. At 27/28 I do not think Kane is the right move, it just makes no sense to me. I don't care where he goes as long as it's not city

Better than signing Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair that's for sure

That is why the concept of negotiation was invented many thousands of years ago. The issue here isn’t the agent.
And if we did look elsewhere, it most likely won’t be Kane/Levy

No it isn't. The question is whether Pep sees Kane fitting into our style if play.

The whole he's good at dropping deep thing, not required at City. But he's a deadly striker who'd score more than Jesus.
