Agree on that, never really happens in modern football.Essentially what the court determines the contract is worth. It would be less than 15-20m. It’ll never happen

There is no point trying to do business with Levy. He is just a wind-up merchant and can't be trusted. I think City need to move away from this deal and get a short-term solution before going all-in for Haaland next summer. Haaland is worth £100m plus in my view. This whole thing is becoming increasingly obviously a complete waste of time
No point, except for when he sells the best players each season e.g. Modric, Bale, Walker and so forth. Levy has never been under so much financial pressure, its in his best interests to get this deal done. There is no point trying to do business with Levy. Levy is a piece of work. The Kane saga is a distraction and will just drain energy from our club when we need to focus on next season.
I can't remember us ever doing business with Levy or Spurs for that matter. As far as I am aware he hates City and has been one of the key players behind the scenes trying to stab us in the back. I wouldn't waste time with him. He will try and stitch us up before selling Kane to another club. City need to make a quick "take it or leave it" offer and then move on. This is not the City of 12 years ago when everyone thought they could take the piss out of us. We do things on our terms these days. I don't think there is any saga at all from Citys perspective, we know what we want to pay. Levy is the one trying to keep the banks away from the china plates, find a new manager, cut the deadwood and find some players to bring in so spuds aren't playing Austrian mechanics and chefs for two seasons running.

I guess there will be no transfers this season then, close the threads :)But confused as to why posters on here are saying we are wasting our time etc. This move was always going to be in hold until the euros have finished, once England win the competition only then will the negotiations start to pick up pace. We are in a holding pattern with most of our business until after the euros we gotta be patient
England will probably be out by the end of June!I guess there will be no transfers this season then, close the threads :)
I think it was the 'win it', we might be waiting a few years :)England will probably be out by the end of June!

Haha I’m a very positive person when it comes to England. It’s coming homeI guess there will be no transfers this season then, close the threads :)
Some people think I’m an egotist...but that’s enough about them.I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken . . . ;)
I don’t think there’s as much animosity as you suggest. Apparently it was the American-owned clubs who led the movement against us - the three red clubs.I can't remember us ever doing business with Levy or Spurs for that matter. Walker to us and Adebayor and Corluka in the other direction.I can't remember us ever doing business with Levy or Spurs for that matter. It's a fair point. However Raiola is much more interested in lining his own pockets than the actual transfer fee so I suspect some creative accounting can be brought into play with the agents' fees. I also think Dortmund will be more realistic and more interested in swap deals with some of our players. That said we would not even be talking to Raiola if Garry Cooke was still in chargeit really wouldn't surprise me if this was already a done deal and part of the agreement is it didn't go live until spurs had secured a replacement.
If people think Levy is a nightmare to deal with, how would you class Mino Raiola?
Getting Haaland next summer.
