Harry Kane

Yup. £50m for a rb. And Levy wanted more. Though walker has been well worth the gamble.
Funny that, all these players he sells seem to work out at very good value for the buying club don’t they.

Berbatov
Bale
Modric
Walker etc etc

Nobody ever looks back on these players once they’ve had their time with the buying club and goes Jesus they got stung for him by levy didn’t they. Are the buying clubs all just lucky they got exceptional value for money or is it that despite what the media portray, Levy isn’t actually a master at negotiations and actually does sell at a reasonable price?

When Kane arrives for whatever the fee may be (we’ll never actually find out) then once he’s won numerous league titles, domestic cups and hopefully a European cup or two, he’ll go into the same list as the ones above who have been absolutely tremendous value for money.

Not sure Berbatov played as well for the Rags as he did at Spuds - but maybe that’s my blue tinted specs.

2 league titles 2 league cups and a golden boot. I’d say they at least got ‘good’ value from him.

On the MotD top 10 then when taking about Van Basten, lineker said the modern day player most like him is Kane for his all round game.

Ironically, they are scrambling around for a right back again and desperately trying to unload Aurier and Doherty after letting a much better player, Walker-Peters, go to Soton for just £12m

Watched Kane closely in 1.5 games now. Let's buy Grealish.

Fair play to Kane, he's doing everything he can to get the fee down.

My concern watching him is that he doesn't seem to have any pace. I don't recall him looking this slow for Spurs, but maybe I wasn't watching with an interest. Is he fit? Are the injuries starting to affect him? Or has he always been some lumbering player who doesn't seem to offer anything?
