Harry Kane

There is no evidence that Levy has failed to honour this so called gentleman’s agreement, if it even exists.

I can well imagine Levy agreeing to sell Kane in the event that Spurs were to fall far out of contention for major silverware. But it is a cast iron certainty that any sale would have been conditional on another club paying the asking price. And there is no way that Levy would have been so naive as to put a figure on it. The naivety will have been all Kane’s and his amateur hour bro.

Don't want to break it to you mate, but your not even in the same Parish as the clubs competing for the major honours.

Le
I agree and only Kane and Levy know what was said.

There have been signs that an agreemrnt existed though.
It's been reported that Levy persuaded him to stay last summer and then Kane looked in tears at the last game, when he did a lap of honour. He then made a video basically telling everyone he was leaving, only it seems to have the rug pulled out from under him again.

Kane probably thinks that Levy has gone back on his word and can't be trusted and after all that's happened i can see that he'd be well pissed off!
Levy is a wind-up merchant. That’s why Spurs lose so many players and no one wants to play or manage for Levy. He and Lewis are selfish twats. They fucked up the Olympic stadium deal and tried to cash in on Furlough.

Yes, I know!

But at the time that Kane signed his six year contract, Spurs very much were regularly in the mix for major silverware.

So you think the substance of the gentleman’s agreement was that Levy agreed to sell Kane if he received an offer that he felt was good enough for him to want to sell Kane? Seems odd they would even bother to have an agreement on that!

Spurs keep Kane, they probably finish between 6th and 8th. Take the Kane money, spend it on 3 or 4 players, I doubt they would do any worse, but would definitely improve if they did spend well.

What planet are you living on? Honestly, Spurs are not even close to being a rival of City’s. You’re so far behind the chasing pack. Spurs’s rivals are Wolves, Leeds and Everton, and that’s WITH one of the top 5 no 9’s in world football ffs. The only trophy you’re in contention for is the Europa Conference, which let’s face it would be embarrassing.
