So Tottenham are not willing to negotiate. I can see why Kane's kicked off
So what. If Spurs don't want to negotiate we can't force them.Pep normally just says he is not our player! Interesting to hear him say if Spurs negotiate we will be interested, never normally says more than than “he is not our player”.
He could probably get a short term loan to cover that from Barclays who would probably take advise from Mr M that he’s good for repayments.or rock the footballing world and pull a webster
Here is the quotes for anyone interestedWe heard from Pep himself just then. Kane is a great striker but Spurs dont want to negotiate so that is it.
Sounds like we arent going to offer anymore.
He said "if Spurs don't want to negotiate" not "Spurs don't want to negotiate" he said it more then once.We heard from Pep himself just then. Kane is a great striker but Spurs dont want to negotiate so that is it.

This was my exact thoughtsIt's very unusual for Pep to openly admit interest in a player. Don't know what's going to happen but you can be sure Kane is the one we're pushing for. Hopefully there won't be too many people upset when I say we're still in for him.
def this, cash strapped but spending money?Spurs spending all this cash on players when they have no money is telling ...... 50m striker linked and 50m defender due to sign
Exactly mate. We keep hearing spurs want to meet Kane to convince him to stay etc. I am sure once Kane is back and has that meeting spurs will realise they have no chance of persuading Kane and we will then negotiate a fee. It’s very much on imo just may take a few weeksI personally think Tottenham are willing to negotiate. Just not yet, which is the issue.

Sounds to me ball is very much in levy’s court. To see pep publicly admit our interest in a player makes me very confident this gets done
Yeah this is the game now. Lines up with what Blackburn has been reporting about waiting it out, so it's likely all come from the club. This was my exact thoughts
Pep never talks about another teams player just bats the question away. So to openly come out and say we want to sign kane speaks volumes. Looks like he has put it in kanes hands for him to play his part now
It’s obvious we cant buy him without selling as we don’t have the squad space to start with mate.Surprisingly open in that interview. Signs of a refreshed Pep are always good.
This seems completely dead, he's publicly admitted our interest and thrown everything on to levy not negotiating. It's a good tactic. He also said we can't afford him without selling which one poster correctly said the other day and got slaughtered for it
That's not obvious to me. We had 21 senior players registered last season. We don't have a centre-forward.It’s obvious we cant buy him without selling as we don’t have the squad space to start with mate.
Yeah, we're not gonna let Levy mug us! Jack's three years younger and Pep will no doubt transform his game. I expect him to have a stint in goal some time. What could Pep do with 'Arry? Just the boring old stuff of scoring a few goals.but on our terms
we would have to leave out a senior player from champions league squad if we signed Kane and didn’t sell anyone else. In others words it isn’t going to happenThat's not obvious to me. We had 21 senior players registered last season. We don't have a centre-forward.
