Harry Kane

After the failed transfer, I put many unkind posts about him and thought worse things that I never put in writing. He delivered under pressure, as did Son. A City player is very well capable of launching a similar shot into the low earth orbit.

Was his brother really his agent or was he an advisor like Haaland's dad, with Raiola as the main agent?
In any case - when it comes to money, never hire or take advice from family!
Also - get everything in writing. There is no such thing as a Gentleman's agreement. Imagine being the EPL all-time top-scorer but never having won even the League Cup. He should push for a move before the age of 30 because other than Italian clubs (who have fallen considerably), his options will decline considerably.

Kane has condemned himself to a lifetime at Spurs - he has the talent to take Shearers scoring record but that will be it...........he may get lucky with Spurs nicking a cup before he finishes but his inactivity when he might have been able to get a move - he will finish wealthy but so will many a PL footballer who gets capped but the measure of a career these days has to be trophies - the cash comes as a given

I still think pursuing Kane was a statement from us with no real intent. Pick the hardest team to negate with and go after their star player for not much more than the £100m spent on previous signing. I think that showed everyone that Pep was willing to play with a striker to let certain people know and if it really unsettled Kane we would of got him at a good price and if not showed Haaland we wanted a striker.
