Look!

Do we trust La Porte(yes) and either Stones or Otamendi(no) to get through the season without letting goals in?

Maguire alongside La Porte is a great pairing.

And at 26 years old, his best years are yet to come.

Bite the bullet, pay close to what Leicester want, and sign Maguire.

He’s value isn’t going to go down.

We might even with the CL, so that money will be recouped.

You're pretending like it's a choice between Maguire or no one.

There are a lot of centrebacks out there. Some better, some cheaper, some young, some all 3.

Random loon? Are you a bird fancier?

Trust Pep! And, you won’t see Maguire at City next year....paper talk because he’s English!

Look around...players flying all over the top teams in Europe, yet NO-ONE is talking about Maguire going anywhere except the ENGLISH teams who have deep pockets!

It’s like a disease! Average English lump gets top dollar in PL, even when no-one outside the top 6 in the PL could give a toss!

Maguire is a nobody and nothing in football. This will not change, regardless of where he plays. He can do one thing well, maybe two: Head the ball, and if he is around the shot, possibly block the ball. He is NOT a “footballer.” The best players in the world, regardless of position, are footballers! He is priced like an “in his prime” Ramos, yet is more Johnny Evans than Sergio Ramos!

I’m going to step away from this thread, because some of you are staring to embarrass yourselves with your comments. I will leave you with this...Harry Maguire is not fit to lace Aymeric Laporte’s boots and is definitely not a better player than John Stones. Were he not a English, you would not only never of heard of him, but you would be laughing at a £90M price tag. He is so far from being worth 150% of City’s record transfer fee it isn’t funny!

Y’all have fun now, ya hear!

I can't think of too many CB of Maguires quality, experience in the Prem league and or international experience who may be gettable/available. Toby at Spurs and that's about it.

Fuck off with the Premier League experience bollocks, it means absolutely nothing as Vincent Kompany has proved for the last 10 years. If you’re good enough it doesn’t matter if you’re from Stockport, Barcelona or Australia. There’s a shit load of better defenders in Europe than Maguire, if he was that good he would have more big clubs than just us wanting him.

Okay.

So apparently Maguire is not that good because not many big clubs apart from City and Utd have been in for him, allegedly.

How many big clubs were in for BSilva, before we nabbed him?
If this is the way football works in that many big clubs have to be in for a playerfor him to be considered any good.

How many big clubs were in for Hazard before he went off to Real?
