He didn't seem particular on which club. Probably just wanted a good chance of winning trophies and a good salary like most players, which he got at Chelsea. Nothing wrong with that.

I know,i am not knocking him,he had some good options,he chose Chelsea the current champions of Europe,so he made a good choice, not the one we wanted him to choose but for him the right choice.

Note how the media say 155-200 grand a week is sorted for us then change it to 110 for Chelsea?

Can someone tell me/us that he's really off to Chelsea, even if you read the papers right?

RVP, are you sure we need someone of his ilk?

Bale, great, real alternative.

Sorry but I certainly don't believe the 110k a week figure, that wouldn't be enough to justify the circus they created pitting clubs against each other to get a better deal.

Over 200k a week imo. That's the point of a bidding war. We'll see but that would be my guess.

Nothing to do with Champ Manager fella, Cavani is very much on our radar but it's got a lot to do with movement in the market our end.
Do you think Spurs cab be persuaded to sell Bale. Think he'd have to request a transfer to make that happen, and if Bale left, would Adebayor still want to join them?

Spurs must have alternatives to Adebayor?

It was always going to come down to this and whoever missed out on Champs League footy would become weaker whilst Chelsea become stronger etc...

Spuds have a problem and Levy knows it, aswell as hearing Redknapp might get the axe during the summer i'm also hearing:

Bale wants out
Modric wants out
Defoe wants out

To answer your question i think Levy knows he has to lose Bale to help finance and rebuild for next season, it's going to be even harder to get the top 4 next season and they need to generate cash to challenge.

Based on what I've heard, and my own opinions, Modric will go, Bale will stay, and Defoe will go.

If Real Madrid want Modric, which I believe they do, that is who we will sell to and we'll try to get a player or two off them. Sahin and/or Diarra I hope.

Redknapp - still think he'll go. I think Levy will wait to see if he gets an offer so we get compensation, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him take a big pay day in the middle east. I know you've always said that you think he will leave too, it may be wishful thinking on my part but I think one way or another he'll be gone.

It's 100-110 after tax. So it's around 200k in normal reports, they never do it like this.

If you think he's on more than Lampard and Terry, you're having a laugh.

Quite excited now. I didn't expect us to sign him but here we are. I haven't seen him play much so lets see if he lives up to the hype.

This is the last time I will post on a thread about this fella after saying my piece here....

This fella has played an absolute blinder along with his pimp of an agent. What i actually believe over the course of this total media whoring is that he has milked this to his hearts content and it has left a sour taste in many a fans mouths. the ego on this fella is actually outstanding, Hazard along with Lille & the agent pimp have created such a circus around him that it was like the second coming!!!!!!

Now last night he has finally made up his mind and chosen Chelsea, due to promises by a russian owner who again is buying players for himself and promising playing time as part of any deal. Well God help whoever this new manager is going to be for Chelsea, because this is the Schevchenko scenario all over again. I predict that due to the terms of agreement in hazards choice & his ego being taken into account, as soon as something occurs that is not to his liking an almighty diva strop will be thrown causing chaos and headlines for the club.

The press will write that this signing is a major coup and show of intention for Chelsea next season, what they probably won't write about is the fact that this signing has all the possibilities of creating a monster headache for any new manager and will cause fractions between players.

Our great club (and i have to say the scum as well) have kept a dignified silence in dealing with him, had this fella chosen us or the scum he would not have been allowed to carry on with the games he has played. The reason he has carried on this way is down to fact that there is no manager at Chelsea to reprimand him, again only Abramovich who has signed him, so he is not going to say hey stop that. The fact that Hazard has could not wait for any news to be associated with a clubs official website again shows the high regard he holds himself in.

I will end in wishing the new chelsea manager all the luck in the world because that person is going to need it. Well done abramovich for adding another ego along with all the others that reside at Chelsea adding to the already established player power
