Can't add much more to these highly fitting tributes to a great lady but I'll add my memories of her.
She did attend COMS as I recall her sitting her last few games up in the disabled section of the North Stand, in the latter days at Maine Road she sat about 5 seats up from me in the Platt Lane; she would let on to us all every week and always exchange pleasantries.
I recall the last game at Maine Road, Big Joe Corrigan jumped over the wall to come and give her a big hug and kiss, lovely!
I remember many many years ago outside Maine Road, for whatever reason, I got chatting to her. She asked me my name [Helen]. She said to me, ok then, when I go, you should have my bell, another Helen should ring it!!!
Of course, no, that hasn't happened and there's no way I could take her place!
That tit at Pompey isn't worth 1% of our Helen! It's not so much his bell ringing, he has a sodding trumpet as well, doesn't he? That's the annoying thing about him! Toot-de-toot-de-tooooot! SHUT UP YOU DICK!
