God squaders always say things like how can something come from nothing ergo God must of done it

SO WHERE THE FUCK DID GOD COME FROM

He is everyone and everything. He is from everywhere.

Prove it...

Exodus 2:24 God heard their groaning and he remembered he had promised them

No probable about it, Jesus existed, fact ! Move on !

No, no, no, just saying something is a fact does not mean a fucking thing. Prove it or at least point out one, just one, contemporary account written about him, not something written 50 years after he died by people that were not there.

Here is the full unedited debate, can you bring yourself to watch it?

There is enough evidence to prove that Jesus existed, clever men have studied the evidence and come to the conclusion that Jesus lived. Pretty much the same as people taking as fact that Dinosaurs existed without anyone having seen a live one.
No need to start swearing is there !
Last time I checked there are dinosaur fossils, bones etc. I don't remember there ever being a body of Jesus, just a tatty old cloth with someone's head imprinted on it.

See, right on cue

Right okay...

We're here, an intelligent life form, so it's possible. We've already discovered that there are other planets habitable zone the same size as Earth. We've already discovered that water can and is on other planets, so we know the building blocks needed are there. In the grand size of the universe it's probable these things have come together to create life. It's not certain, but it's probable considering it's already happened.

Now nobody can prove if there is a God or not, but certainly the Gods depicted in the holy books on this planet at this time are incorrect and do not exist. Because, there's so many contradictions and irregularities in those books for it to be the work of a God.

Neither is 100% truth or false yet but I know which one I'd bet on to exist.

Really?

Please refer us to an article that shows of the discovery of an earth sized planet in the goldilocks zone.

You seem to know of one.

An update for you DLBH,

Jesus was the original con man. The apostle fellas were his cronies and he was so good he is still conning people a couple of millennia later.

Yeah of course that makes sense the universe has to come from somewhere but someone is everything, right

Anyway heaven will be shit if it exists. Just be popes/vicars etc shagging kids, nuns beating them and boring old fuddy duddys

think you`re mixed up with St. Ambrose Barlow BB ;)

Moving the goalposts there, John.

The question was whether earth-like planets had been found in the habitable zone around other stars.

That was answered.

I mentioned intelligent life forms elsewhere of which there is as much evidence of as there is God.

You're being disingenuous here.

We exist, therefore there is proof that it's possible for intelligent life to exist in the universe.

The next question is, given there are billions of planets in the known universe, what is the likelyhood that Earth is the only planet with intelligent life on it, out of all those billions? Given the vast numbers it's certainly possible that there are other forms of intelligent life out there.

There is no proof, anywhere in the universe, that there is the possibility for a "God" to exist. There is no precedent set (like the precedent that we ourselves set for "intelligent life" being out there somewhere).

Have we got evidence that intelligent life actually exists (except for on Earth)? No. Do we have evidence that it's possible for intelligent life to exist? Yes.

Have we got evidence that God actually exists? No. Do we have evidence that it's possible for God to exist? No.
