3 of my favourites...
Malham Cove. Stunning walk, we couldn't climb the waterfall as we had our little girl with us but went over the top instead. Got a bit of everything this walk, streams, waterfalls, hills, weird rock formations and a massive wall. Plus the village is great with a really nice pub and ice cream.
Loughrigg Fell from Ambleside. Over the top and down by a couple of lakes. Really nice.
Dovedale Peak District. Over the stepping stones, along the river to the stone bridge. Turn right up over the hill and with your way back.
2 is normal, 3 is only occasionally and 1 no I’m not.You should only got hiking for 3 reasons
1. You are a fat **** and needs to become healthy
2.You do it because the end result is a piss up in a country pub
3. To murder someone and hide the body in s peat moor
Looks like you just walked up there to take a kip, lazy ****Today’s hike up Old man of Coniston.... nice day for it. Picture taken at levers water on the way back down View attachment 4017

I find dragging bodies through rough and boggy ground quite challenging , chucking them down a disused mine shaft is a bit more relaxing. You should only got hiking for 3 reasons

Drive into Wasdale in spring mate, it always takes me breath awayThere are many absolutely stunning places in the Uk, but, and Im not being biased, even though I am, but the West Coast of Scotland is on another level. It is truly awe inspiring at times and if the weather is good* then the sunsets in places north of Fort William are just sublime. I live on our east coast now and that too is beautiful, I love it here, but, for majesty and sheer rugged beauty, you cannot beat the west coast. Obviously right now, or anytime soon, you cant come up here, but, when its ok then do yourself a favour and get both your arses up here.
* The weather is good for approximately 48 minutes each month in summer, if its a scorcher.
Strictly no refunds.
Had a look, fantasticDrive into Wasdale in spring mate, it always takes me breath away
