At last! The truth has been clear to many of us for years and those that blamed the fans did us all a gross injustice.
Personally, I read a lot and researched much on the disaster in the early 90s (and ever since) the reports, memories and stories of the day were clear but I guess none of us ever realised there was as much lying and altering of records as has been outlined today.
This was a tragedy in a ground that we now know was unsafe - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - Hillsborough was viewed as one of English football's best grounds at the time. That makes it clear that our facilities were poor and we were treated badly in every way.
The disaster happened at Hillsborough but it could have been at any ground and with any team.
I've always been a bit angry about how fans were treated back then (and at other times). In 1989 when the disaster happened the Manchester clubs' fans joined with those on Merseyside to boycott The Sun. I've never bought it since that day.

Listened to Cameron's statement and have to admit I was in tears. Fucking bastards. If I heard right, 26 people could have been treated and saved? Of course, government are blameless - shocker! - but importantly, finally, neither are the fans.
I hope this can at last bring some closure of sorts to those affected.
