You must have shit for brains. Whatever we all think about the Scouse victim mentality it's quite clear that the Hillsborough families were totally justified in pursuing their campaign.

Prestwich on his highhorse again. No surprise there. Whilst you lot chat about this on here (or maybe you should go and support lpool instead) i'll be having a proper debate at the supporters meeting

Enjoy....

Debate how much of a penis you are

He`s NOT a penis.He`s a fooking clitoris !!!!

To be honest I've never understood the whole argument about the victims not deserving sympathy as it was ticketless Liverpool fans that caused the deaths by arriving late and surging the turnstiles.
By definition then, the people who did die were the ones at the front who did have tickets and who had got in early so regardless of the causes they were the most innocent of victims?

it's not, unless Simon Heffer wrote it 25 years ago, which is impossible.
Seeing as that makes no sense I am done talking to you.

makes more sense than you comparing someone involved in and condoning the writing of the aforementioned text by someone else and your quote about it proving as such to the current PM apologising for something done by completely different people 20 years ago that had absolutely sod all to do with him.

So why was he sent to Liverpool to apologise by Michael howard?
Why do you think? He was the Editor of the Spectator and the Tories had to be seen to distance themselves from it.

But it does not make him responsible for the article or for writing the words. You're a bright bloke, you know people are made to apologise for things in the public arena that they aren't responsible for all the time.
He will have given the go ahead for them quotes to be printed am I right?
Supposedly the Editor is meant to read every word of every article but doing that whilst being a full time MP and director of a couple of companies, I very much doubt that happens.

Either way, he was probably right to apologise for it appearing in the paper but people vilifying him for those words now and trying to say they are his are just trying to point score on tories/toffs on an emotive thread in true bluemoon fashion.

Oh my fucking word.
So he's just a very busy individual who dipped his toe into something that proved a bit hot and he was forced to apologise. And he didn't say it or condone it.
And this isn't about politics ffs.

How did he did his toe in if he didn't write it?

By association.

I can't believe you are defending any connection he had to that statement, however tenuous.

Perhaps he was just really busy that day though.

If anyone from my family had died there I would be screaming for someone's blood right now. I'd want that **** Kelvin MacKenzie fucking hung, drawn and quartered. I'd also expect a full apology from that fucking arsehole Boris Johnson - can't wait to see what that twat says.
What's Boris done?

Nothing really he said something about Scoucers being rather self pitying or something like that, nothing to do with this, they got upperty about it, it was an observation, its all about free speech really
He said they were self pitying, and that it was the fault of drunken hooligans and that they were trying to shift the blame to The Sun. Probably doing it at the behest of one of his Eton chums. The bloke is a ****.
