Hillsborough - The Search for Truth

How did hillsboroug hosted the semi final when there was no safety certificate? I mean , there can be a legal action against them , i am sure they can be sued here?

And FA still don't recognise their mistake , that statement was a shocker to be honest , no responsibility whatsoever or not even a mere apology

If the FA don't feel it's right & proper
to apologise for their part in H'Boro,
can they be considered fit to run english football?

An interesting fact is PBR ( LFC chief executive ) at that time asked fa to change the venue days before the disaster !!

It was Graham Kelly's first big occasion as FA Chief Executive after taking over from Ted Croker 3 months earlier ......

After the previous years semi final (coincidentally Liverpool v Forest in 88) a Liverpool fan wrote to Ted Croker & Colin Moynihan (the then sports minister) to complain about extreme overcrowding in the Leppings Lane end and how it was an accident waiting to happen ......... nothing was ever done by either Croker or the sports minister in relation to this letter.

Mick Dennis was on sky this morning mentioning this
One was the mirror the other was another red top

He just said they had a small column and only used quotes used by other people.
I still think they should also be copping some of the flak.
Maybe mate

Oh And breaking news on sky

Borris has apologised for his comments in 2004.

I do too.

I think a reputable paper should highlight every paper that printed something like this at the time. The lies and liers should be there for all to be seen and remembered for the sick fucks they are!

The Leppings Lane end always looked grossly overcrowded for FA Cup Semi Finals. A mate of mine, a United fan, went to one of their semi finals in the 70's, described it as the scariest day of his life. The part played by the FA seem to have been largely ignored in this, I'm astonished that there hasnt been more focus on how the official capacity was determined.

I've not quoted the post, but Gary makes a good point re fencing. I remember Ken Bates threatening to (can't remember if he went through with it) put up electrified fences at Chelsea.

It was a shocking day for those who lost their lives and were injured mentally or physically on that day.

I hope they actually bring charges against anyone who conspired to cover anything up.

This is a master-piece imho
the temptation to escalate into lurid insults, to let the red mist dictate the keyboard must have been over-whelming. That you resisted made it more, not less, powerful and deserves a wider audience.
