Hillsborough - The Search for Truth

Tragic, poor organisation and incompetance cost innocent lives including the Heysal disaster, Liverpool have had a tough time of it in that respect.

You are fuck in jokin! If you ever came across Liverpool Fans in that era you would appreciate that many of them were animals who shouldn't have been let out of their own shit hole of a city. ( ditto Celtic fans who visited us last year for a pre season "friendly" --- re call what they did to the South Stand?)
At Heysal, they attacked the opposition fans, and then pissed on the the injured and dead as they were being stretchered out of the stadium.
At Hillsborough, 96 innocent Liverpool supporters were killed by others from Liverpool.
But no it was Liverpool, so they blame every one but themselves!

They did eventually but most of the 96 were dead or dying by that point. Plus there were fences at the front of course.
"eventually"
Wankers. They could have had them fences down within seconds (minutes?), surely?

there was no safety aspect with the fences they were welded and made to stay up little doors where only one at a time could get through i remember them taking them down in front of thhe north stand at maine road they had to use gutting gear and blowlamps
Fucking terrible Marco, We weren't that bad were we?, I thought them fences couldve been dropped straigtht off

believe it or not prior to Murdoch people believed what was in the headlines, and that belief still lingered well past hillsborough. Some still want to believe lies because it suits their agenda,
The cover-ups, the lies, the complicity of politicians, the stain on the honesty of judicial reviews, the sheer length of time the bobbing and weaving has gone on, the way a resignation can get someone off scot free on full pension, it supercedes tribal hatred between fans. Or should

People who attend a game are entitled to expect that the authorities will minimise any risk of danger to them. That did not happen at Hilsborough.

Whatever feelings you have about Liverpool fans should not be aired on this thread imo. All clubs have problem fans, then and now.

The Sun told me that at Hillsborough it was where the scousers pissed on the dead? Which was true? You seem a well informed type

I was at Blackburn that day so didn't really hear the full of what went on til we got back to Manchester. It was all whisper talk in the stands at Blackburn..."roofs collapsed"..."scousers kickin off"...etc etc

Might have been from a pink paper

I was at Blackburn that day. There was a lot of misinformation going round the City end.

They thought they could get away with smearing the reputation of people who were working class and mere football fans.
Twats.
The negligence on the day itself was bad enough but the cover up afterwards was abhorrent.
