Holiday advice

I believe formby beach is beautiful, but one off our blues on here, sis lives there & loves to welcome tourists,

perhaps we could have an impromptu blue moon meet up at Formby beach
Would there be enough parking on her drive for a few vehicles
I bet quite a few pubs and food outlets are closed so if she could do some sandwiches that would be lovely

Formby is very nice indeed. Crosby beach is nice but all the scallies go there.

Caravan in the middle of nowhere in Wales it is this year. No Ibiza or Italy as is the norm. Not trusting anything with my lad who is 10. I had two flights booked to Sweden for myself but have moved them to January and March as I do not even want to go abroad alone.

£700 we had to pay Ryanair to change flights to next year. Certainly won’t be using them again after next year. Basically our hotel cancelled our booking in Lanzarote but got the full refund. We booked the flights separate but because the flight is still going ahead we couldn’t claim on our insurance, so the only option was to change flights rather than lose the £1500 quid for a family of 4. £700 for the privilege of changing how the hell do they get away with it !!
What would BA or Air France or Virgin have done?

I like your thinking.
Bluemoon meet up around the beach @ blue sis garden,

Holy Moly.
Landed at Venice, picked up a car and headed NW towards the grappa region.
Drove into the fiercest storm I’ve ever experienced.
Lightning non stop for two hours, torrential rain that made me reduce my speed to 10 miles an hour just to see out of the windscreen, bloody big tree branches down in the road, unseen until the last seconds, the roads were rivers...
Just had a few sherbets to get over it.
It’s still pissing it down.
Good job they don’t have an airport ring road here.

As it stands I'm still off to Iceland with TUI in December.

I don't know whether TUI will make it until December though.

Spent a wonderful day of high temperatures exploring the towns of Asolo and Citadella.
Stunning places.
