Bayeux and Amiens are definitely worth a visit both with decent restaurants and the Cathedral at Amiens is stunning , the largest in France.

Not there specifically but the Northumberland coast a bit further north is lovely.Looking for a nice quiet 3 days away.
Thinking of Whitley Bay.Anybody been.
We stayed 10 mins south of Alnwick which was a good base.

We were looking at a bit further afield. Maybe Caribbean / Mexico. We wouldn't be able to afford it, if it wasn't for monetary gifts from family and friends on the wedding day and want something "wow" that we will only ever be able to do this once.Cruise around the Canary Islands?

We did a Carribbean one (TUI) with a weeks stay after the cruise in February this year.....just generally disappointing and not value for money.We were looking at a bit further afield. Maybe Caribbean / Mexico. Not really in the Carribbean, we stayed at a 5*+ on Dominican Republic....was only meh and really oppressive with the heat.Think we will stay off cruises. Any recommendations for destinations or hotels?

Wild camping near oban in a few weeks. Daughter decided she don't want to go to her mums in Germany the same day I had a flight to Croatia. Whisky and no stress hopefully

Off to Helsinki for six nights at the end of December
Helsinki is my favourite city in the world. I love it so much we lived there for 7 years until Brexit decided we couldn’t stay.
But 6 nights is a long time as a tourist, it’s not a big place…head to Tallinn for a day or two at least in that time.
