Honest answers please

There were some poor attendances for the home cup games this season... yet most of those who couldn't be bothered in early rounds still have a final ticket.

How many of you didn't attend cup games, knowing that if we reached a final you would have enough loyalty points, regardless?

And if the club had announced that cup final tickets would firstly be tagged to people who actually attended cup games, would this have made you attend, knowing your points alone wouldn't have been sufficient.

I incidentally, missed out on ticket, despite attending EVERY home match in EVERY competition this season. And I find that a tad unfair.

I'll be honest, I haven't been to a single cup game this season, semi final asides.
However where I have gained my LOYALTY points is through years of loyalty through the awful seasons, going home and away to places like Mansfield, Notts County and the likes, I have been away to Stoke games at the Britannia and the Victoria seen us be relegated and seen Alan Ball jeered by both sets of fans, would you suggest that you deserve a ticket more than me?

Well done to you for going to all the cup games this season. Try going to endless cup, home, away and European away trips including pre season friendlies for 15 years and then you'll have the points.

Yes I do have a ticket, and I've sold it a friend of mine as I'm away and he's desperate to go. I was offered nearly £500 for it, but I sold it at face value to my mate.
You seem to be a little self righteous with you plight. Loyalty points are just that, points for years of loyalty, not just a couple of seasons and cup games.

I have over 4000 points if tickets sell out at 4100 you won't hear my complaining as the tickets will have gone to those more deserving than me.....

nice one mate

we got 25,000 for the final would like to see a breakdown of were all the tickets went. how many went to supp/clubs. HOW MANY ALL THE MEMBERS OF STAFF AND EMPLOYEES GOT AT CITY ( some one told me two or three each) then we can see who to blame. And not the fans who have been going since 76 or longer and have spent what some of these players get in a week.

I know a lad that works over there and he got a semi ticket, and was told he would get a final ticket, only to be told the day after, that there would not be enough for all staff, and would be drawn out of a hat, so total Bollocks that they got two or three each!!!!

36000 into 25000 means lots of supporters will miss out so we are only arguing about how to slice the cake when the real answer is a bigger cake.

How about next season? - if I was running the ticket office I would deliberately say nothing about those joining the CDS getting priority for cup finals.

The (unannounced) way those in CDS got preference for semi and final tickets this season will mean most season ticket holders will sign up to the cup scheme in anticipation of some sort of preference if we get near a final next year. What if City decide to do it purely on total loyalty points? How can anyone legitimately complain?

Fantastic way of getting sales for cup games up - maybe that's all it is.

b4 kit bag took over the city store staff were told they would get two tickets each. but only got one each and thats not bollocks!!!

Dad takes me to matches, currently unemployed. Live in Huddersfield.

Went to Juventus, Poznan and Aris in the Europa

Went to Notts, Reading and Un*ted in the FA Cup

No away games, did what we could on a budget. I have 3700 points, dad 3800. Dad was there in '81 as an 18 year old who had bunked off school to get a ticket. Say we are not "worthy" of a ticket if you will, but this is only one of few seasons we haven't done away cup matches. Boro' last season, which was freezing and a nightmare journey, both Sheffield clubs, Preston and many others.

So like i said, they didn’t get two or three each then!!

Making the original statement that they got two or three each total bollocks!!

Do you work over there?

Because the guy who I know, who dose works over there told me last Thursday they have to go into a ballot as not all staff would be getting a ticket!!!

But if you work there then you would be in a better position than me to comment, but if not then !!!

No What's unfair is the way the FA give 40,000 tickets to everyone and loyal fans miss out!!! final allocations should be 35,000 each at least!!! Shocking that you can buy tickets online now for £400-£500 each!! the FA need to look at this!

SPOT ON.

Therefore, you will know that he did not get two or three tickets for the final or the semi directly / legitimately off the club!

You should also know, as I have just been confirmed that the office staff have had to go into a ballot for tickets!!

dont see what your original point was?!

Mine was that the statement that “all the staff got two or three tickets each from the club” was bollocks...
