Hooliganism and Violence Maine Road 80's/early 90's

I didn't have a ticket for the 81 cup final but went anyway hoping I'd get one. On the train down I ended up buying one of a fellow Blue but it was for the spurs end. I still bought it. The lad who sold it me wore a pin stripe City suit.
That will be Ray I’m sure.

Jimmy no longer a bin man still a proper blue
I know but it’s how most people know him. Some of the best city days I’ve ever had with Jim, George, Mitch , Stevie C. Heading down Princess Parkway with Steve at the wheel and a pack of Stellas ( me not Steve). Wondering who’d cave in first and crack open 1st can at half 7 in the morning then hearing the reassuring tshhhh as George set the tone for the day. Wonderful days, so much laughter and such shit football!!

Watched "Inside Iceland:Britain's Budget Supermarket" tonight. It featured the Rochdale store having a makeover. One of the first regulars back in the store was Daft Donald. Gave a short review to the store manager as to how impressed he was with the refit. I think the cameras cut away before he asked the store manager for 10p.

Ha ha that's brilliant I often wonder where all the old characters are these days, some sadly will no longer be with us.
