Really I haven’t noticed it recently when we have played them . That is not good. This hissing still goes on now.

I’ve heard it more than once in the last few years.Really I haven’t noticed it recently when we have played them . That is not good.
You sure it's not the same 70s lads, maybe they're just wheezing after climbing to their seats.I’ve heard it more than once in the last few years.
Each time I’ve turned around and shouted shut the fuck up to the minority of cretins doing it.
Unfortunately it’s hard to work out individuals, otherwise I’d be getting a steward.
I was there that day too, didn't see the disagreements come about like that, loads of bad lads out that day, got away from the law, smacked a few scousers and pitched up in a pub to decide what's next, couple of Everton spotters appeared outside the pub giving it wait here mancs we'll be back, the trouble started between those who wanted to get off to another pub and those who wanted to stay and wait, and who was leading the mob! Words were exchanged definitely but didn't see it as a pure rascist thing, more who thought they were top man that day, long time ago mind! Remember the walk to the ground? Walking in pubs and everyone leaving as we did! Mad day.Sorry mate, City had a NF hardcore mob, twice I witnessed there stupidity, once away at Everton when MW (rip) and his mates / lads were told they were not wanted, we don’t want any N’s with us they were told. The second occasion was in bottom Yates when MW (rip) stood on a stool and asked for unity, a glass was thrown at him and it kicked off. The NF faction were no more than posturing gobshites, but they existed. They still hang around together to this day in CB level 3. The bananas had nothing to do with them or racism.
I’m 62... he’s 60...I have heard that he's a reformed character nowadays Been told a few tales off Oldham boys who know him. Lads I'm on about are mid 50s to early 60s. How old is Carl ?
Sat in the third tier of the Colin Bell stand you tend not to hear it.I’ve heard it more than once in the last few years.

Don't think yours is the same incident mate, we got put back on Lime Street Station, and when released they went straight too pubs. No spotters, no fighting with scousers, and MW (rip) and his lads were told they were not welcome and racially abused. They didn't leave like lambs either, it was a nasty racist incident.I was there that day too, didn't see the disagreements come about like that, loads of bad lads out that day, got away from the law, smacked a few scousers and pitched up in a pub to decide what's next, couple of Everton spotters appeared outside the pub giving it wait here mancs we'll be back, the trouble started between those who wanted to get off to another pub and those who wanted to stay and wait, and who was leading the mob! Cheeky ****. ;)You sure it's not the same 70s lads, maybe they're just wheezing after climbing to their seats.
The last time I heard that sung was by Wigan fans at city fans in the 99 play-off semi at Springfield park - thick cunts.Who were the hundreds or thousands of city fans singing 'town full of pakis' at the likes of Preston or Bradford then if we never had a racist element? NF used to sell papers on forecourt between North and Maine stand. We did have a problem with racism though admittedly not as much as the likes of Leeds, Birmingham, Chelsea etc
