House Of The Dragon (GOT Prequel)

Think it's off to a solid start.

Nothing spectacular yet, just a lot of good set-up.
 
I really enjoyed the second episode. GOT was good when it was building character and storyline, I thought that was what was going on here. Its well cast and each character already has a developing arc.

Exactly that.Its setting the scene perfectly while offering a few teasers of the carnage to come.....Patience will be rewarded..

Having read the book a couple of times it's based on its the best way to tackle the material rather than flashbacks because a lot of the cause of what happens has its seeds in the past so audiences need to understand it. If done without the jump it would be 50 seasons long :) So far its a very faithful adaptation and having recently watched an interview with the show runner its clear he loves and knows his shit so should be done well.

I’m just confused as to why they can age Rhys Ifans and Matt Smtih up 20 years but not Rhynara.
