How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

What else would you want a brexit voter to say or contribute?

It’s little wonder a lot of posters don’t bother posting on the politics sites when you get a message “insufficient privileges to post here” if you say anything that those in charge don’t agree with.

I have been saying for a while, Brexit is not the problem, it is the people enacting Brexit that are the problem.

The Tory right, ERG, Libertarians etc etc envisaged Brexit as enabling their vision of a "Singapore on Thames" which would be an ultra Neo-Liberal free for all. They have not got that and the plans for Freeports appear to have disappeared. I don't believe Johnson for all his foibles is an ultra neo Liberal and now he has achieved his goal of being PM has zero clue about what to do next. We have that fucking idiot Rees Mogg proclaiming a benefit of Brexit as us being able to sell submarines to Australia. The Tories have gone from having their cake and eating it, to having a stale cake that is no longer edible.

It all stems back for me to Cameron's arrogance in believing he would not lose the referendum and because of that made no plans for if the referendum was lost.

As somebody who came to believe Brexit was the only viable option for our country it has saddened me to see what a fucking mess Johnson and his acolytes have made of it, the only silver lining is that at some point in the future a Socialist Government enacting Socialist policies is now possible.

The big benefit for me in Ireland is that using amazon.de rather than amazon.co.uk is a pain so I've saved a load by not buying crap on a regular basis. These says I go to a "shop" to overpay with style.

Pretty much yes, we are where we are and we have to hope somebody. anyone with a clue can sort the mess out.

At the moment the Tory answer is bicycle theory, keep fucking peddling because if you stop peddling you fall off and the whole thing goes to pot. Perhaps they need to stop peddling.
