It was tenacity of the mad Eurosceptics for 40 years that got us where we are.I think most people have moved on, but you have to admire the tenacity of those that have spent seven years of their lives (and counting) ranting to themselves on the internet.
There has to be some counterbalance to the madness of farage and mogg and this is it.
The English are the ones most likely to have mixed immigrant genes. And there is our problem. Can’t really blame them I suppose when bile and poison is dripped in their collective ear every day. The question I would pose is why is it primarily an English problem though rather than one that is consistent throughout the four nations?

Agreed. It’s so much more nuanced than that. The mad Eurosceptics didn’t get us to this. They played a part but it’s naive to think the anti-EU sentiment was / is just down to Rees-Mogg and his ilk.

Why would anybody think being in the EU was a bad idea without the years of poison and lies? The mad Eurosceptics didn’t get us to this. They played a part but it’s naive to think the anti-EU sentiment was / is just down to Rees-Mogg and his ilk.
Yep. Just this weekend Starmer (Sun) Streeting (Mail) and Cooper (Telegraph) all had columns dog whistling about "out of control' immigration.Says it all he's talking to race baiting news organisations.
